Graham Hetrick has served as Dauphin County Coroner since 1990.  He is a respected expert and investigator and a bit of a celebrity.   The true crime series The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead chronicles some of Hetrick's most mysterious and disturbing homicides.

We are fortunate to have Mr. Hetrick with us to discuss the process of medicolegal investigation and how it relates to both criminal and civil adjudications. This program will cover the following topics:

    ·         The need to understand the concepts of critical thinking within the realm of legal research and investigation

    ·         Understanding the sometimes variances between medical roles of physicians and that of medicolegal investigators and forensic pathologist

    ·         The process of threshold analysis to determining the value of one legal argument over the other
